What we’re working on

Backup is live. Next is a private place for the people you choose: folders only you can see, a photo that can be opened once, and a family tag so they already have it.

Yours alone

Private folders

A folder the rest of the library cannot see. Lock it. The photos stay backed up. They do not show up in search.

Named people

Share with one person

Invite by phone or email. They can look. Download stays off until you say so. Take it back whenever you want.

One look

View once

Send a photo. They open it once. No download, and on Android the screenshot button is blocked. Your original stays with you.

The family

Tag it. They already have it.

A folder for Amma, Papa, or the whole house. Tag a photo into it and they can see it the next time they open Photu. Untag it, and that access is gone. You do not send the same picture ten times.

The wedding

Everyone adds. You keep the originals.

One folder for a trip or a function. Guests drop photos in. You hold the full backup, at the real file size. Not a crushed WhatsApp forward.

On the way out

Crop. Write. Draw. Then send that.

A light edit on the copy you share. The photo in your library does not change. No streaks, no stories, no face scan filing a picture under the wrong person.
